This truly was a gentle giant among men, and one of God’s finest spiritual leaders across this country. Rest in peace our brother and our friend knowing to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

  • Namon Collins (cousin)

May God bless the family during this moment of celebration, reflection and mourning. Mom and Cousin General talked often and she was very fond of her cousin. She had an accident(hit from behind) and is recovering so it may not be a good idea for her to travel so far at the moment.

To the Martin family, please accept my deepest sympathy, along with my greatest joy in the home-going of one God’s model disciples. Pastor Martin was an encouragement to me during my early years as a minister. He was a model of consistency, courage and compassion. I can only pray that I can live up to his example of love for God and HIs people coupled with his commitment to communicating God’s word. Praise God for longevity of life and a lasting encouragement for me to, like him, finish well.
