Memorial Visitation Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 12:30 pm, Memorial Service following visitation at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Larzetta Thompson Brand 74, surrendered to her call on October 7, 2024 in Atoka, TN.  She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Thompson, Sr. and Cozy Williams Thompson born in Cleveland, OH on October 13, 1949.
 
She believed in Christ and was formerly under the leadership of  Reverend Carter.  After graduating East Tech High School, Larzetta  decided to further her education by attending Trade School.
 
Known as “Larzy” by family and friends, she was blessed to be the mother of seven beautiful children: Sharon Thomas, Samuel Thomas, Jr., Maranda Brand, Craig Thomas, John Brand, Jr., Keisha Thomas and Kendra Thomas.  
 
Larzetta relocated to Tennessee in 1988 and during her residency here, she was employed with the Fayette County Board of Education and was a culinary specialist at Fayette Ware High School.
 
 Along with her children, she leaves to celebrate her life a grandson that she reared as her own, Dontavious Thomas; 4 siblings Dwain Thompson, Gwendolyn Crawley, Georgia Williams, Sharon Williams and 3 generations of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
 
In addition to her parents,  3 siblings preceded her in death-Alphonso Thompson, Sr., Benjamin Thompson, Jr. and Johnny Thompson, Sr.
