May god’s spirit surround all of you with comfort and even joy as you celebrate her life! She was such a wonderful person. We grew up together on the west side of Cleveland in the Tremont community.
We all walked to school together when there was no bus,
to Lincoln Jr and Lincoln West high school. I really loved her.I saw her some years ago at Beachwood mall with her daughters and their children, and she was so happy, so content. I did not see her much after that, but memories are always with us. There are things people do that stick with us, inspire us, guide us. Whenever I wanted to give up finishing college I always thought of her and Sue, her sister. These young ladies were sterling examples of becoming educated, and finishing college. That always stuck with me! I finished! Thanks Karen for being such an inspiring example in the community since youth! That was Karen, she will be missed!
