To the Cofield family, although this is a sad time in life of everyone who came to know and love “Chuck”, you can take comfort in knowing that he is now in God’s care. Chuck had a zeal for life, and that falls right in harmony with God’s will. Our heavenly Father purposed that man was to live forever upon the earth, that purpose/promise has not changed. Through His son Jesus Christ, Chuck has the resurrection hope waiting for him.

My sincere condolences goes out to The Cofield family. May God give you the strength to make it through this difficult period in you lives. It is so very hard to lose someone so dear to your heart, but God can hold you, and help you along the way. I am so glad that I was able to tell Uncle Chuck good-bye, and that I love him so very much. May God bless you all, and keep you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen!

Our hearts pour out to you in the loss of a Great man of God, who lived every moment pursueing his purpose. Mr. Cofield was an outstanding father to his sons, husdand & best friend to his wife, mentor/counselor to young men and young woman on our block and great steward. He had a profound affect on our lives. I rejoice in knowing that he sits at the right side of the Lord, where Jesus has already greeted him saying, “well done my good and faithful servant”. We love you and are praying for peace in the midst of this storm.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Cofield family. Mr. Cofield was truly a unique and kind human being. He was father to all of us on the block! Although none of us made it to the NBA, we shared many hours and nights playing the game we all loved. It was because of him putting the hoops up and repairing them that we could fulfill are dreams competing against each other, day in and day out. I will truly miss him and I pray that I can be just as much of a positive impact to my two boys as he was to us on the street!
