Legoria Williams

Legoria Jean Chillious Williams was born July 26, 1945  in Cleveland, Ohio, to the proud parents of the late Drew Herman and Lucille Ellen Chillious Sr. Legoria graduated from Kenston High school in Bainbridge Township, Ohio, in 1966.  She worked various jobs after high school, before she began her future in the Nursing field at St. Lukes Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, where she worked for many years.  After which, she moved on to work for the Cuyahoga County Board of Mental Retardation as a Transport Driver.  At her younger age,  Legoria was baptized and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Later in life, Legoria  began attending her family’s church (Apostolic Church of God In Christ on Buckeye Road where, at the time,  her cousin, Homer Napier Sr. was then the pastor) In 1992, Legoria entered into a new battle with life, where she fought courageously to sustain.  And even through some difficult times, she never failed to bring a smile or laughter to all.   Her battle was not easy, but she never stopped showing interest in others.  She never failed to ask how you were doing.  And she was an excellent listener. On August 27, 2014, she lost her battle with life.  And she leaves to celebrate her life 2 wonderful children, Sonya Cherelle Ford-Stevens (Michael Stevens),  and Jesse Williams III.  As the third Oldest, of her 3 siblings, she leaves to survive her, Drew Herman (June) Chillious Jr.,  Nira Nadine Chillious Johnson.  And Catherine Chillious-Todd (preceeded her in death) In addition to her children, siblings, and grandchildren ( Zak, Raven,  and Angel), she leaves to celebrate her life a host of loving Nephews, Neices, Cousins, and friends.
