Passed away June 24, 2023. Loving mother of Chasity and Briana Parks. Cherished grandmother of five and great grandmother of one. Beloved sister of thirteen. Public viewing Thursday, June 29, 2023 12pm-7pm at funeral home. Funeral service Friday, June 30, 2023 11am at Sanctuary Baptist Church, 4004 E.131st. Family will receive friends at 1030am. Burial to follow at Cleveland Memorial Gardens, 4324 S. Green Road.

    Miss Karen one of my favorite people in the world you are very special to me just to hear your laugh and sit down and talk with you go to the different events you was always the same anytime I called you and ask you to cook me some chicken and dumplings you never said no you will always have a special place in my heart not just because of the chicken and dumplings but because of your special ways you was a sweetheart from Addison Junior high all the way up to East high School you was always active and said what was on your mind you didn’t bite your tongue and that’s what I liked about you Karen you are going to be greatly missed but a lot of people especially your family and friends cuz you made a lot of friends and you can best believe that every last one of them loved you God bless you girl we are going to miss you you will never be forgotten and I really mean that from the bottom of my heart we thank you for your friendship for being who you were we love you and may you rest in peace God’s got You cuz you know you were doing his work while you was here on Earth you did your thing what he wanted you to do and now it’s his time with you rest don’t worry about anything because the gates are open for you the angels are singing and dancing for you love you I just can’t say no more about you anymore one of the most wonderful person that I knew growing up and I was really sad and hurt to receive that call but I know it’s you in good hands

    Karen Parks Sanders was a Neat and Dear Friend of mine and Most of my Family I will remember her Beautiful Smile Her Beautiful Personality and the Love she always showed to Everyone that she came in contact with That was my all around Girl when it came to our Shopping trips Our trips to Vienna to Get Our Corn Beef or Shaw Dairy to Get our Dinners and a lot of other restaurants we use to frequent We was always going Somewhere and I met most of all of her family And we had a Beautiful time together. One particular holiday it was Thanksgiving and all her Family was their at her house. And you talking about some Good Home Cooking That’s what is was about.
